Surrender: September 2, 1945

Surrender is the personal story of James L. Starnes, the navigator of the USS Missouri at the end of World War II. On September 2, 1945, Starnes served as the Officer of the Deck on the battleship for the surrender ceremony of Japan to the Allies.
