When President Charles Bentley Kidd is impeached and removed from office over a sex scandal with the White House pastry chef, he has no idea what the future holds for him. Then a chance meeting with a college drop-out in his new Connecticut neighborhood offers him an opportunity at redemption, through a road trip to Los Angeles to see the daughter who is now avoiding him.
