Greasy Bend: An Ode to a Mountain Road

Greasy Bend is a collection of historical short stories about people and places along a segment of U.S. Highway 58 that passes through the mountains of Southwest Virginia. The highway through the section of the road near its intersection with the Blue Ridge Parkway is called Lovers Leap Mountain, and it is an especially beautiful but challenging drive.
