The Widow's Son: A Tropical Island Mystery

For a lawyer practicing in paradise, Drake Burnham has a betel nut basket packed with problems. Against his better judgement, Burnham agrees to defend a nightmare client, Jangle Elwell, before Super Max Coleman, a hanging judge who has it in for both attorney and client. Jangle soon turns the Frost & Burnham law office inside out, courting Drake's secretary, punching out the office investigator, and making any defense to the charge of bank robbery all but impossible. But Burnham's initial troubles pale when Jangle is murdered.
