This book is dedicated to English and Spanish interpreters' who perform a very important function in the judicial process in the United States. The book is intended as a means to better prepare interpreters with respect to what goes on in a civil case. After reading the book the interpreter will be better equipped with knowledge of of the steps that are taken in a civil procedure, and the "terms of art" that constitute the foundation and building blocks of civil court procedures. It follow that the more is understood about the procedural rules that apply to litigation, the better prepared the court interpreter will be to perform his job with precision and decision.
