The year is 2287. This is a story about people, caught up in the drama of first contact. The discovery takes the form of a derelict spacecraft, with 18 dead crew members. Some people are drawn into the drama because of whom they know. Others because they want to own the incredible alien technology. Still others because they are concerned about political power. This story is also about a spaceship, and the amazing civilization that brought it to our solar system. This is the first novel of a series, and heavily illustrated.
