The Little Book of Baby/Child

The Little Book of Baby/Child is a conversation with you about birthing, child development and the brain. We talk about some really important choices that affect who your child becomes in physical health and personality. The author, which is me, considers you to be the expert and so I encourage the formula GUT + RESEARCH = HIGHEST and BEST DECISION. In this frame, the book becomes a spark of knowledge not traditionally given to parents, so that you can create a biological, emotional and environmental standpoint for your child based on a wider range of understanding. We also talk about the really deep challenges of our emotions as the interplay with our children, discussing ways to heal. We look at parenting tools and strategies while viewing your child as credible and unique, with real feelings, a spirit and life purpose . The author, (yes which is me), provides humor and antics not typical of a licensed clinical social worker, but typical of a somewhat free-spirited mother, who is of Irish descent and from the Northeast. So my off-colored jokes within the book come with a little warning and hope, that the book becomes more of a relationship with you rather than a listing of (what I consider) very important information for parents. Please note that I have a lot of holistic leanings, almost toppling. If you do not consider yourself holistic, don't worry, I also provide a lot of science spoken in very friendly terms and I respect everyone and their choices. Topics include home births and hospitals, midwives and doctors, vaccines, breastfeeding, sleep environments, structure, nutrition, long-term health, education, child feelings and behaviors, parent healing of history, brain reprogramming and more.
