SAT Grammar Workbook (Advanced Practice Series) (Volume 2)

Often, students proclaim, “That was so easy” about a grammar section and then sit in disbelief when they later find out that they actually got a lot of the problems wrong. The reason for a lot of these mistakes is over reliance on the way a sentence sounds and old grammar habits stemming from colloquial speech. This is because the way we have learned to speak English is not exactly the way we are expected to write it. For this, we need rules. Contrary to popular belief, grammar rules don’t need to be complicated. We can learn them through basic visual clues. On the SAT® there are 12 such rules.
