The Enchanted Crossroads (Enchanted by the Craft)

Magic exists, or so I've been told. 

It's Friday night and my best friend is dragging me out of my office. I want to make partner, I need to put in the hours. Going out, is not in the cards for me. Yet, here I am, having another awkward conversation with a handsome man. They usually run the minute they hear I'm a lawyer. A soft chuckle catches my attention. 

Leif is hot, like I mean super, you can have my panties, hot. 

And he's laughing at my awkward conversation.

On top of being embarrassed, he's the driver who's about to take me home. I don't think this could get any worse. But it does, because of course it does. I walk into my apartment and get attacked.

This is where magic comes in, because Leif is a Mage. Apparently, I'm one too. I'm also a descendant of two Goddess who is supposed to defeat this evil God and save the world. Too bad, I'm not all that interested. I just want to make partner at my law firm, not save the world. 

Leif, the panty dropping hottie, just may change my mind about all that. 

I'm just not sure I'm willing to give up my entire life to be hunted by warlocks and Gods.
