The Province of the Law of Tort

Originally published in 1931, this book is comprised of the content of a series of lectures delivered in the University of Calcutta during 1930. The text traces the relationship between tortious obligation and other regions of the law, suggesting that the Common Law gains greatly in effectiveness by the absence of clearly marked barriers on the boundary of any one of the subjects analysed.
