Adulteration of.the article was alleged in the libel for the reason that it consisted in part of a decomposed vegetable substance. On June 10, 1918, no claimant having appeared for the property, judgment 'of condemnation and forfeiture was entered, and it was orderedby the court that the product should be sold at public auction by the United States marshal, after having given notice by verbal proclamation at the time of sale that the corn was adulterated in that'it consisted in part of decomposed vegetable matter. B. Horton & Co., Memphis, Tenn, and transported from the State of Tennessee into the State of Georgia, and charging adulteration and mlsbranding in violation of the Food'and Drugs Act.
