Bollywood Shakespeares (Reproducing Shakespeare: New Studies in Adaptation and Appropriation)

Bollywood Shakespeares uses the latest theories in postcolonialism, globalization, and post-nationalism to explore how world cinema and theater respond to Bollywood's representation of Shakespeare. The essays examine how Shakespeare has been reproduced and reimagined in a global context through the use of Bollywood imagery, conventions, and styles.
