📖 Description
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Horses are among the most beautiful, graceful and powerful domesticated animals in the world. We use them to increase productivity, for pleasure and sport and for therapeutic purposes. Horses are, by nature, however, wild animals with a history outside of their interactions with humans. This book examines the evolution of the horse to its modern form and then turns to equine anatomy and breeds. The Equine-Human interaction is an important part of history for both species. Domestication of horses and the requisite care are discussed as well as the various uses of horses in human society.
Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
