Jimmy grew up in Chicago surrounded by women, making him a self-proclaimed ladies' man, even though his workaholic dad accuses him of being gay at fifteen. The following week he meets Adriana at a swimming class. Unfortunately, this is only the first of countless heartbreaks and failures. He chooses to graduate college early to become unemployed sooner, only to find his degree so useless even his Alma mater won't hire him. Bored, he begins performing stand-up comedy and gains immediate visibility with his self-deprecating humor, making him a poor, yet very well liked man who continues to live at home with his parents.
