Bible Chronology and the Sumerian King List

This treatise pulls together all of Dr. Isham's dates for the Sumerian King List, as well as the Bible chronology (through the Divided Monarchy period). An introductory chapter presents Dr. Isham's views on allegorical interpretation, literalism, inerrancy, and divine inspiration. This chapter also includes a short treatment about the proper interpretation of ancient genealogies. Notes appended to the dates discuss Sabbatical dating, generational dating, the Exodus, and the Book of Joshua. Attempts have been made to not overlap Chapter Three in Planet Earth, but this treatise should be seen as an in-depth expansion of the materials found there.
