High Tea: Poetry, Prose, Monologue & Short Stories

Through a collection of poetry, prose, and monologues, 'High Tea" examines the social, political, spiritual, and sexual issues confronting African American Women. Heather, a light skinned black woman from Martha's Vineyard is inviting her well-to-do friends to High Tea where they will be discussing who's who, and who's not. Angel, a slave woman, living on Heavens Plantation takes you on a spiritual journey to freedom through the magical power of Angel Dust; and Ramona, an outspoken, fingers napping, transgendered diva evaluates her life and questions her identity by asking, "ain't I a woman?"
