A Vampire Story is the first installment in the adventures of Stephan Barrington, a vampire who has lived, loved, and lost over the span of many years. Written primarily from his point of view, the book centers on his quiet life in "retirement" and what happens when his sordid past returns to haunt him. Set in the early 21st century, A Vampire Story provides a some what whimsical new look at vampires and the humanity that they haven't quite left behind.
