Angel on the Great Medicine Trail

Angel on the Great Medicine Trail is the story of the Harrington family traveling the Oregon Trail in 1851. Angela the second daughter and her younger brother are the only members excited about the frontier with all its beauty and possibilities. Their mother Clara, a proper Bostonian, has hired a seasoned guide named Lou. She and her beautiful oldest daughter Lillian face the trip with trepidation. Their fears are greatly increased when they learn they will be accompanied by a bounty hunter, Barton Finch and his prisoner, a young half-Native American man. Along the way they encounter bears, snakes, thieves and their own true natures.
