"I stopped and looked around. I looked up and I looked down. I looked left and I looked right. I couldn't find him. I slowly moved toward the path in case he was hiding, ready to leap out and scratch me again.

As I came near the spot where I last saw him, I noticed a big hole. I slowly moved toward the hole. As I got real close, I looked down into the hole and I heard a "meow". Aha!...

I circled the hole. I barked...

I went back to the hole and got very close to the edge. Oh my gosh, the dirt started falling in and I was losing my grip! I was falling in the hole!...
