The Quest of Mankind

The savage Drogan, from the Andromeda Galaxy, attacks the 10,000 Year Empire. After the titanic struggle to save the galaxy, there is a great upsurge in space pirates now ravaging the helpless planets of the Empire. One thousand refugees from the planet Bravura escape to try to found a new colony. A freak accident knocks them off course, and they find themselves at the last reserves of their fuel supplies, in a strange planetary system, trying to find one that is suitable for colonization. After they founded the new city of Borealis II, they are taken by surprise when the Homosaur race decides to destroy them. Can the five Clans of Mankind-those who Man had brought into sentience from the animals they once were, those left to safeguard Terra when Man left for space, those who pledged to defend their beloved Man against all enemies-help them in their darkest hour?
