Through the eyes of a quiet, yet competitive Little Leaguer at the peak of his career thus far, The Game of a Lifetime is the story about #4, Jay Fox, and his quest to earn the title in a one-game championship. This championship game proves to be a microcosm of his Little League career, as he takes the reader along for the ride through every pitch of the actual game, as well as taking a break between innings to capture the events that shape Little League baseball outside the chalk lines.
