Unexpected Life

A French Canadian family and an American family spend three weeks at the same small beach-front cottage community, expecting it to be just another frenzied, expensive, and strained family vacation. Instead, their lives converge in ways none of them could have imagined; all must reevaluate their identities, their desires, the meaning of parenthood, childhood, family, friendship, love, and the cost of becoming and remaining truly alive.
