Human Immortality: Death and Adjustment Hypotheses Elaborated

Man is mortal. This sentence mentioning a universal truth is perceived, traditionally, with the meaning of mortality as the end of existence. But in the “Death and Adjustment Hypotheses” I explained methodologically, in the book – QUEST FOR A NEW DEATH, that human die, but not necessarily cease to exist. If that is true, then, in the traditional sense, which denotes mortality as end of existence in our perception, human are immortal. Because they face death but do not cease to exist. Its true that when we consider mortality as a criteria of facing death only, there is no doubt that man is mortal. But as practically we perceive our mortality as ceasing to exist and the Death and Adjustment Hypotheses denotes, methodologically, continuation of existence even after death, this book declares human as immortal. It elaborates such Human Immortality with more comprehensive presentation of the “Death and Adjustment Hypotheses” with a major target of improving global mental health.
