Deception of Grace: A Story of Addiction and Obsession

Desiring a sound investment for a future family, Mark set out on a two-year house-construction project. He soon found, however, that God had additional suspense-filled plans for both him and the house. Grace struggled with the questions of her faith as much as she struggled with her disturbed teenage daughter Janet. Before the first nail was driven, Grace had designs of her own for Mark’s house. Seeing an opportunity to make some quick cash from the “good Christian folk,” Dan, a young drug addict, soon showed up at the job site. Encouraged by the strong Christian environment, he joined the study and swore off the drugs—or so they thought.
