In A Normal World?

Diane, an attractive girl from Europe follows the same path as any other girl from a middle class background, until she finds herself in bed with Susan, one of her closest female friends.
With her forthcoming marriage to Dave and experiencing rejection from Susan, Diane decides to tell no one how she feels and ventures off to the South of France.
She becomes sure of her sexuality and starts to explore the possibility of living a gay existence. Then one night she meets a woman called Chris, who changes the course of her life for many years to come. With a series of lesbian love stories.
Diane is met with a great deal of trauma and confrontation. Chris is not the woman she thought she was!
Diane continues to meet some very confused women, experiencing more unpleasant encounters.
Then living in a country where the political and social problems are affecting everyone's daily lives, a decision to leave the country is on her mind. But her heart keeps holding her back.
Eventually, she decides to leave the country as the violence has become unbearable and she no longer wants to feel or experience the fear of being attacked on a daily basis. Should she stay or should she leave?
