Taking The Next Step: Seven Principles For Leading The Emerging Church

The vision for "Taking the Next Step" was birthed after I went to hear a friend preach one night. After the service I was talking with the Pastor of this small church and he seemed so frustrated and said, "I don't know what to do, I don't know the next step." Riding home that night I knew that I had to write a book to him, but not only to him but to all the pastors around the world that are frustrated. The essence of being a pastor has radically changed in the last decade. If a pastor is going to successfully lead a 21st century, emerging church, then there are these seven principles that will help him know what the next step is.
