The Camptown Races (American Antiquarian Society)

This illustrated version of one of the most famous songs from the minstrel era was originally published circa 1882 by McLoughlin Brothers of New York. The familiar tune was written by the ""father of American music,"" Stephen Foster, in 1850. This edition includes the musical score with lyrics, and wonderfully colorful illustrations.
