Payshence is a young girl happily growing up on the west side of Charlotte with her loving family, until disaster strikes. As a result of the aftermath, Payshence will then go to stay with her Aunt Denise. Temporary housing for Payshence becomes permanent. She will have to struggle through the hardship and pain of growing up, mutilating her soul forever. As Payshence matures, her survival tactics must intensify. This misguided youth conjures up mayhem at every turn. The author will take you through this journey of life starting with an innocent set of eyes. This unique story combines drama with poetry.
