Robin, like the bird of spring, arrived early, before her small town in New Hampshire was ready for a child who could actually see Jesus in the church, and long before medical professionals or relatives would recognize the accuracy of her inner voice. Her struggle to understand and accept her intuitive gifts and the ensuing battles with her emotional and physical health, especially in relation to the children she birthed and those she lost, is a cautionary tale for all of us about the importance of our connection to the deepest part of our being.
