Hands-On Programming Fundamentals

There are a few fundamental things you can learn that will help you to be a great programmer. One of the most fundamental of these is how to write a program in two distinct language types. In this book, I will show you how to write programs in both Visual Basic (descended from BASIC) and Java (descended from C++). Along the way, I'll cover object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, and the Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) used to write programs and manage databases. With an understanding of these basics, you will have the tools you need to be a great programmer!!
