The SAM contains user-friendly grammar explanations in clear English that are accessible to students who are not familiar with grammar rules and terminology. The structure of the program (grammar in the workbook and activities in the student text) allows students to work independently on learning to use grammar in context while providing more flexibility for professors to concentrate on other points of emphasis, such as vocabulary development, extended discourse, and cultural comparisons.
