LastingLove: Skills to a Better Relationship, Participant Manual

Marriage and Relationship Educuation classes are designed to give people skills to help them build strong, permanent marriges, or to strengthen existing non-marital relationships. These skills do not seek to replace traditional therapy for those who need it. But most people do not need psychotherapy to deal with their problems. Most need help in a few areas and research over the past 20 years has demonstrated that relationships can be strengthened and problems resolved with the help of skills-building classes. LastingLove is undique in that it teaches three interpersonal skills sets plus financial literacy. These include Communications Skills, Conflict Resolution Skills, and Practicing Fidelity Skills. It provides participants with 10 rules for happy marriages. It is short, requiring only four two-hour classes. And it promotes values as well as teaching skills.
