Lethal Quantum: Thriller

The team of Dr. Gerhard Fleischer at the University of Vienna performs leading-edge research in quantum physics. His top-notch physicists, mathematicians and engineers from various countries are specialists in quantum teleportation and communication and just about ready for another major breakthrough. In this situation a renowned institute of seismic and volcanologic sciences offers them a cooperation to build the ultimate calculation engine, a quantum computer. The goal is to construct an earthquake simulation and forecasting engine of incomprehensible power. The development progresses rapidly, but soon there is evidence, that dark forces discover yet completely different uses of this powerful technology. What has started with a series of rather esoteric experiments with entangled particles, teleportation and quantum-dots, develops into a terrifying threat for the team and escalates rapidly to a conflict of global proportions, challenging the world's mightiest powers.
