I Was A Monkey's Momma: Pets, Critters And Transportation Tales

Tanya Lived with me and my family for 28 years and was featured in a 1979 "True Story " article with three pictures. She was a constant source of amusement, yet there were times of worry and sadness. She was with me during two marriages and eased the empty nest sindrome when my children, Nick,Terry, Linda and Lance, got out on their own. She made me laugh after a stressful day at work, and got along with and played with the other pets that we owned through the years. . She and my white German shepherd, Bambi were especially close and fun to watch. There are stories about other pets and animals in our lives,my working days as a Taxi driver, Metro bus and Train Operator, and childhood and adult memoirs. Some of my poems are included. I hope you get some chuckles and tears and share the love that I have for animals. I missed my calling; I should have worked at a zoo.
