The Five

The Five is an action packed science fiction novel that will grab you like a high voltage wire, it will shake you, and it will not let go until you have finished reading the entire book. The scientific theories in The Five are conceivable and frighteningly realistic. Imagine your grandchildren being educated by attaching two electrodes to their fingers, then feeding data directly to their brains, creating new artificial neural pathways. This is what the future holds. The children will be programmed like a computer is programmed. The Neuraldine Corporation wants those children with mental diseases and learning disabilities to receive college educations. They assure us that there will be no longer be social inequities in education. Neuraldine tells us their intentions are for the good of mankind. The only problem is, they did not consider the unintended consequences and the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
