This collection of articles is devoted to the relationship between text and performance in the contemporary theatre. In this volume, nineteen theatre and drama researchers from the Baltic countries, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Hungary, Russia and China are discussing the results of their research of these issues in an academic article or an essay. The book mainly focuses on the experience of the Baltics in creation of the theatrical texts, but it also provides a wider insight into the changing processes of the world drama and theatre.
