Sherlock's Grandson and Other Strange Stories: Stories to Make You Laugh and a Couple to Make You Cry

I have written several short stories and ballads which my friends have found to be amusing, interesting and as they would keep telling me, worth publishing. So here they are, ballads written when I was lonely, environmental pieces written when I was angry and stories pointing fun at both the Yanks and the Brits, both of whom I admire. From the 'Big Bang' through the 'Discovery of America' and the 'Cold War Nuclear Threat,' to today's adventures on my new sailing boat. From the 'Evolution of the Fire Breathing Dragon' to the 'Lady in the White Corvette' plus a handful of short poems to fill the spaces in between, I trust my friends where right for once and they are worth publishing. One thing I am sure of, you will enjoy reading them, especially if you try and read them to yourself in a stuffy English accent. Incidentally my stories are all funnier after a few beers; it's the English way, beer with everything. 'Cheers,' enjoy the stories; there like will not be seen again.
