Promise to Protect

Persephone, a young Catgirl, leaves her former life behind, to protect a princess in the kingdom of Fayewood, where she meets Herne. Herne and the Princess Aurora, immediately accept her, and the three become the best of friends over the years. When Aurora comes of age, Herne asks for her hand in marriage, and is set to a task by her father, to prove his worth. A family heirloom needs to be recovered, and her father will allow the marriage if he recovers it, but the king will only permit two companions to help him on his journey, his own spy, the changeling, Osiris and one other. Persephone, against Herne's wishes, stands by him. Together, they must face lecherous humans, flesh eating creatures, a corrupt lord, and more, if they are to survive.
