The Guardian of the Yellow Wolf

Pearl, a tall dark beauty, is a peasant from the lowlands of Kildare, Ireland. She calls herself a healer, but many consider her a witch. Taught by her mother, Meghan, a seer of the O'Grady clan, Pearl knows both healing and magic, but prefers curative skills. Measuring the risk, she serves both nobility and commoners. When by chance she meets the McStern family, she finds hope in their youngest daughter, Airyona, who is of pure spirit and highly gifted. Pearl yearns for Airyona McStern to save her beloved Christopher McLore. But young Lord McLore is drawn to Airyona's sister, and his desire threatens Pearl's hopes to cure him.
