Some years ago the entertainment world was held spell-bound by the T.V. series "Roots". At the heart of the series' theme was the underlining question of Black identity. The question of black identify. The question was not only posed by the African slave who had to established a new sense of identify on the shores of slave America, but it was also the question of the slave owners who had to come to grips with this stranger from afar.
