Baby (Tic, Tic) Boom

Previously a successful career woman, Beth Holt gives up the stresses and long hours of her job to become a full time mom. Very quickly she realizes that far from the blissful, joyous life she had imagined with her beautiful new baby, she's exhausted, confused and often feels like a failure. In an effort to find her new place in the world, Beth looks to the privileged and stylish city moms she sees everyday. This elite club, of which her friend Louise is a member, seem to have it all. They spend quality time with their kids, go to the gym, throw fabulous parties and all with designer outfits and a perfectly groomed appearance. With their benevolent support, it appears that Beth is starting to get her life back on track. However, the reality is that not only is she is finding things harder than ever, she is sacrificing both her sense of self and her relationships with family and friends, alienating herself from the very people who will accept her as she is and give her the support she needs. At times laugh out funny and at others heartbreakingly sad, Beth's story is one that many women young and old will find both engaging and relatable.
