The Three-Legged Deer: Exploring the Miracles of Nature

Introducing three inspirational short stories - for the childlike of all ages. ***** First, there is the true and mythic tale of a heroic 'THREE-LEGGED DEER' - who loses a leg in a collision yet survives and thrives, teaching the drivers of the car how to live in the 'now'. **** Then, there is the story of the spiritual triumph of a group of "THE LiTTLE PEOPLE" - namely, Elves - who let the local Humans know there is reason not only to fear their magic potion but to honor their healing notions and lotions. **** Finally, there are "THE ELEMENTALS", that wondrous band of microscopic beings who band together to secure the birth and development of a sacred Oak tree - the one that may now be growing in your backyard or neighborhood. **** The leading roles are cast, respectively as: * a heroic THREE-LEGGED DEER, who despite the loss of her leg at a Deer Crossing continues to hop along her usual trails - and in the process teaches a busy family of four how to slow down, stop complaining and give thanks for their many blessings, * a GRANDFATHER and his GRANDSON who lovingly interact with a community of ELVES and thus help them to attain the recognition and respect they both seek and deserve, and * a spirited group of tiny GNOMES, UNDINES, SYBILS and FIRE SPIRITS who work tirelessly - in, on and just above the soil - to convert an acorn into a magnificent and sacred OAK TREE. ****Written by an established author - who after traveling the world, climbing a few mountains, and overcoming a few obstacles of his own - has settled down (of sorts) and founded 'THE OPEN HEART SANCTUARY' in Western New York.
