The third collection of James Spada's male nude photographs, "Eye Candy" features nearly 90 new color and duotone images of some of the most delectable men in America. These young men, the objects of someone else's affection at last, pose comfortably and naturally, exulting in the attention coming their way. Spada chooses comforting, homey settings; wooden fixtures, patterned bed spreads, old-fashioned furniture that is tasteful but not distracting, to serve as backdrops for what viewers can imagine as lover's retreats, weekends away from daily strife, vacations where walls come down and lovers reveal their innermost thoughts. "Spada's few captions provided just hints of insight to his models, leaving the rest appropriately to our imaginations. One model, Jake, is described as a muse, and you can see their dialogue developing in the many images of this young man with perfect skin and a few artfully placed tattoos.
