The African Corporate Jungle: Engaging Corporate Social Responsibility (Volume 1)

There is an evident increase interest in Corporate Social Responsibility issues in not only in our country, but generally the continent of Africa and the rest of the world as well. Hardly do the monthly or by-monthly periodicals go for long without an article or a feature on CSR. And many companies have put up their CSR engagement as an advertising tool. However, apart from these articles and features, the body of specialized literature in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is rare to find in this side of the world - in the third world countries. Yet, this is the same side of the world that much of CSR is done. Though the book has a slight tilt to the CSR done in the third world, especially in Africa and Asia, it is not confined there but has implications to the rest of the world as well.
