Zero Point: Bond is told by Roxanne Wyatt, a very smart, unwittingly cool college student with a fresh voice, a wry sense of humor, and a ‘PhD in New School’ because she and her scientist mom have moved every two years since she was a baby. She's on her own. But she's used to that. Her father died when she was three, and her mother is so smart that she's incapable of anything practical, including cooking or paying the rent. On her first day at the University of New Mexico, her newest school, she meets Alex de Cala, who's Peruvian, older, very intriguing, and deeply involved with a group called the Order, an ancient organization that carries out secret activities all over the world using the power of zero point crystals, rare gems they keep secret from the rest of humanity. She may not be able to trust Alex, but she knows that zero point crystals can heal.
