Mama's Best Advice

A mother's words of wisdom. Mama's Best Advice is a compilation of reflections on African American “expressions of wisdom.” The book is based on Christian “spiritual” principles and provides biblically-based “suggestions.” Many of the ideas are continuing to be passed down from generation to generation of African-American mothers, through the tradition of oral history. These women have always had a vision of a brighter, stronger and wiser “free” generation of their descendants.
