Tony Philips is a young PA to a powerful business man in Utah. He is injured in an horrific car accident which proves to be a chance involvement not connected to his two passengers. The story tells of events leading up to and onwards from this shooting with German Interpol in Frankfurt investigating shady dealings of an arms smuggler. A Russian General from Omsk becomes one of the major factors in the tale and with his paramour Captain they undertake a dangerous journey across Russia to the Caspian Sea, and then to Iran. The characters from Russia, Germany and the Homeland Authorities come together in Las Vegas and are secretly watched by a rogue police officer from Los Angeles. Then comes the explosive incident in Mesquite which leads to a bloody culmination of events in the town. The purpose of the intrigue is revealed in a shocking final chapter.
