The Progression of Time: How the expansion of space and time forms our world and powers the universe

This book is about a new cosmology of perpetual existence that agrees with all astronomical observations. It proposes that the cosmological expansion is in the scale of space and time; when space expands time also expands, making the second longer. The new scale dimension explains the progression of time, the origin of the universe (there is none), and what is causing the inertial force. It also makes the previously missing connection between Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity. It implies a revolution in physics.The book begins with investigating the physical consequences of an expanding cosmological scale, and shows how this new expansion mode perfectly explains the universe we see, including the mysterious Dark Energy and Dark Matter, which both are unexplainable by our current cosmos model based on the Big Bang event. This new Scale Expanding Cosmos (SEC) model implies that there exists another kind of motion beyond motion in space and time, namely motion in scale. Thus the scale of space and time becomes an additional dynamic degree of freedom. In the past we have been oblivious of this fundamentally important aspect of existence. However, motion in scale cannot take place continuously but has to occur in very rapid, tiny, discrete increments, which we experience as the progression of time. In other words, the cosmological scale expansion makes time go by while leaving behind a world with progressive diminishing scale the further we go back in time. This expanding cosmological scale is the engine of all existence. It generates energy by the temporal expansion, which is absorbed by the spatial expansion. This perpetual cosmological flow of energy from time to space sustains all existence.
However, if the scale may change with motion in time the question arises if it also may change with motion in space.   In investigating this possibility we find that that there is a certain dynamic scale-factor that will explain the inertial force during acceleration as being caused by spacetime curvature, just like the gravitational force is. And, this particular scale-factor, named the "inertial scale-factor", also appears in the Special Relativity (SR) theory. This leads to the conclusion that the SR theory should be revised; in fact, SR may have prevented us from the discovering of the origin of the inertial force.
The book also addresses the missing connection between Quantum Mechanics (QM) and General Relativity (GR) by demonstrating how QM may be derived from GR if the scale of space and time oscillates at a very high frequency. This suggests that the QM wave functions could be modulations of the scale of spacetime. This would resolve the incongruity between QM and GR, which is a festering, unresolved, issue in modern physics, by providing a link between QM and GR. It merges these two previously estranged theories into a single theory.
Should the findings presented in this book turn out to have merit, we are facing a revolution in physics as well as of our world-view.
