The Gingerbread Man and the Dinosaurs

The familiar tale of the Gingerbread Man is extended. He makes his escape from the characters of the original story and travels into the time of dinosaurs. The meeting with each dinosaur is first presented as a visual hint. The children can predict which creature is next. None of the dinosaurs want to eat him. The recurring theme is,"You don't look like dinner to me" is predictable . The children can be encouraged to join in giving them a gentle prod toward literacy.
