Sixteen-year-old Bodie McCann is in trouble. He's on a dangerous path when he gets caught and sentenced to fifty hours of community service. Instead of a menial job like picking up trash, the judge assigns him to a camping trip in the Arkansas Ozarks with other troubled boys. Their youth-rehabilitation outing should have been a piece of cake, but an earthquake kills the adults. Isolated in the wilderness, the boys are on their own. Bodie is an experienced camper, but his survival skills are put to the test, with life and death on the line. Bodie faces one obstacle after another, from dark caves and rushing streams to wild boar. But Mother Nature isn't his biggest adversary when his fellow campers turn against him. Bodie uses all his strength and resourcefulness in an unexpected journey that might turn his life around.
